Apótek Restaurant
Reykjavik
Fine Dining
Apótek Restaurant is named for the pharmacy (or 'apothecary') that was housed in the premises from 1930 to 1999. Today, it's a premium restaurant in the heart of the old town of Reykjavík. The restaurant pays homage to its roots with its award winning 'pharmacists' at the cocktail bar, who whip up artisan drinks for every need: 'painkillers', 'stimulants', 'tranquillisers' and even 'placebos'.
The cuisine is a refreshing mix of Icelandic and European cuisine with Argentinean grill thrown in for good measure. The dishes are developed to be shared and enjoyed together. The dress code is smart-casual, with a stylish and elegant decor and a vibrant atmosphere.
