Keflavik Airport

When you fly to Iceland, you will land at our international airport in Keflavik, a 40 min drive from the capital Reykjavik. Many visitors find it a strange experience to land in Iceland, since the airport is located in a part of the country that looks like an arctic desert with lava rocks, moss and mountains.

 

Arriving At Keflavik Airport

The international airport is small and very easy to navigate. Inside the airport there are several tax free shops where you can find local products, as well as internationally known brands. There is also a bar and a small restaurant if you want to grab some refreshments after you land or before departure.

Once you get through customs you can take the flybus, a taxi, or rent a car to get where you're going. It is easy to get anywhere in the major capital area from the airport.
