Transportation
Try out the restaurant Fljótt og Gott for some great traditional Icelandic food!
BSI is the main bus terminal in Iceland, conveniently located in central Reykjavik. BSI is where it all begins, ends, and lots of thing inbetween as well, actually. It's where the FlyBus will take you upon your arrival in Iceland and where Reykjavik Excursions will greet you to take you on some fantastic adventure. Taking the bus is an affordable and eco-friendly way to travel around Iceland.
Arriving early at the BSI bus terminal? Waiting for a bus? We urge you to grab a bite at Fljott og Gott. The restaurant is open every day from 6am-11pm, at which time you can sit down and relax, try some traditional Icelandic delcacies, have a glass of wine, watch SKY news, or load up on burgers, hot dogs, pastries, fresh fruits and sodas while you wait for your bus. For the extra brave we recommend the viking experience, a singed sheep's head with a shot of black death along with some cured shark. We couldn't possibly guarantee that you'll like it but at least the experience will bring you one step closer towards being a real viking.
Tickets to and from the airport can be bought at the terminal, or book here now with a 5% discount:, with or without hotel pick-up/drop-off:
